It was a perfect day on Friday to have our home meet.  Congratulation to the 8th grade boys who came in first place at the meet.

A special thanks to all of you who came out to help with donations, setup, and logistics.  This year’s event was a big success.

I have not scheduled the team party yet.  I will send an email when I settle on the date.  After that we will have a hiatus until spring time when, if there is interest, we will train for the Finish Chelsea’s Run 5K March 3rd in Balboa Park.

Tomorrow is the San Diego North Rotary Club Fun Run at Mount Carmel High School.  The meet flyer is: FUN RUN Flyer 2017.  The Fun Run course is here: Middle School Division Course.

Right after school at 2:30pm I will hold a special warm up practice for those Running Raiders that are interested.  At 3:30pm I will walk team members over to the stadium to be ready for the 6th grade start at 4:30pm.  Running Raiders who participate in the special warm up practice should be picked up at the Mount Carmel stadium after their race.
